Vestfjorden

Vestfjorden is a 155 kilometre long fjord or oceanic sea in Nordland county, Norway. The fjord lies between the Lofoten archipelago and the Salten district of mainland Norway. If you only have one shot at skiing in Norwegian mountains – Lofoten is the place to go. Very available, but still so wild and extremely photogenic.

The photo was taken after a traditional night-ski to get the morning light in the mountains. The light and weather changes extremely fast in these mountains triangled by the North Sea. No morning is alike up there. The color palette is incredible.

I like this peaceful composition and its natural colors.
